The Western Australian Museum, Geraldton is absolutely world class, with superb designed displays of the history of the region capturing the mid west past and present .

Visitors take a journey through the region from the desert to the sea in the Mid West gallery.

The Shipwreck Gallery, complete with authentic sound effects, tells the story of four Mid West coast wrecks, displaying fascinating relics and objects, including a portico which had been bound for a castle in Batavia.

The Marra Aboriginal Gallery showcases indigenous art and artefacts from the Mid West.

There are gifts, souvenirs and a large range of books in The Museum Shop for a lasting memory of your visit.

The Western Australian Museum of Geraldton is open daily from 10am till 4pm.
