Martin's 15 minute pressure cooker Curry
Serves 4

You will need a 7 litre pressure cooker - available from Pressure Cooker Centre, 337 Rokeby Road, Subiaco

Ingredients
500g Diced Beef chuck steak
Large glug of Jingilli olive Oil
2 to 3 large potatoes diced
2 tablespoon Whittington's mild Curry Powder
1-tablespoon grainy wine mustard
2 large onions chopped
2 cloves Garlic chopped
1 can of Coconut Milk
1 jar/can of minced / puree tomatoes (sauce)
Large cup of rice (enough for 4 serves)

Method
* While cooking in pressure cooker, in a separate pot or Rice Cooker, prepare rice for four.

Pressure Cooker
Heat pressure cooker (lid off) add oil then onions, garlic and caramelize. Add mustard, potatoes and cook for a further 1 minute, then add diced beef and brown.
Next add curry powder and cook for 1-2 minute's. Finally pour in a can or jar of minced tomatoes and coconut milk. Stir and then put lid on the pressure cooker and cook for 15 minutes. (depending on meat quality)
Serve with steamed rice and a glass of white wine from Salitage.

For Dessert... Martin's Retro pears in Red Wine

You will need a 7 litre pressure cooker - available from Pressure Cooker Centre, 337 Rokeby Road, Subiaco

Ingredients
6 peeled green pears
1 vanilla pod
2 cloves
150 grams castor sugar
1 wine glass of good red wine (salitage of course)

Method
Add the red wine, sugar,vanlla and cloves in your pressure cooker swirl around until sugar dissolves. Place the peel pears in the pressure cooker pop on the lid and cook on medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes (depending how big the pears are) this dessert is best made 1 day before serving. Serve with vanilla ice cream yum yum.
