Martin's 'Retro' left over Xmas ham bake
From Fresh Life at Centro Warwick

Serves 6

Ingredients
Left over Xmas ham from Christmas from Tom's Meat Markets Centro Warwick
2 cups of cooked pasta shells or left over pasta
Dash of Jingilli Extra Virgin Olive oil

For the cheese sauce
40g Butter
1 teaspoon of 'Perth's' Grainy Wine Mustard
40g Plain four
600ml Milk
150gm Grated cheddar Cheese
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Olive oil and mustard available at Claremont Fresh

Method
1. To make sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, stir in flour cook for 1 minute
2. Gradually add the milk whisking until mixture boils and thickens to a smooth sauce then add mustard
3. You can whisk in ¾ of the cheese (keep the rest for the top) and salt and pepper to taste
4. In a large baking dish place a small layer of sauce on the base
5. Then a small amount of pasta to cover
6. Add a layer of the sliced 'leftover' ham and sprinkle on a little cheese
7. Repeat: i.e. Sauce, pasta, ham, cheese until all gone as you would a lasagna.
8. Cook in a pre heated oven 180deg until golden brown approx. 20 to 25min.
9. Serve with a green salad and perhaps a chilled Sauvignon Blanc by Treehouse

And for dessert….you'll be too tired to cook after all that so why not…
