Martin's 'Retro' spicy Beef Noodle Salad
Serves 6

Ingredients
3 x 250gms Harvey Beef rump Steak
750gms hokkien noodles
1 tablespoon Whittingtons sesame seeds toasted
1 tablespoons Whittingtons Dried chilli's or 2 if you like it hotter
1 tablespoons of Olio Bello Olive oil for cooking steak
1 tablespoons Whittingtons sweet basil leaves
3 spring onions sliced
1 red capsicum sliced
Small handful of button mushrooms chopped in half
Handful of green beans or snow pea's
Pinch of Whittingtons sea salt & ground black pepper

Dressing
1/3 cup of lime juice
2 teaspoons Whittingtons minced garlic
cup of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of sesame oil
1 teaspoon of Avocado oil
1 tablespoon of brown sugar

Method
1. In a frypan or BBQ season and cook steak how you like it.
2. Refresh noodles in hot water for 3-4 minutes drain and rinse
3. Saute vegies for 2 minutes making sure keeping them crunchy
4. Start the dressing combine oil, garlic, lime juice soy sauce and sugar
5. Toss dressing though the noodles, beef and vegetables serve
6. Serve with a glass of chilled Chardonnay by Salitage


Retro creamy fool

This is an old English dessert made from cream and fruit

Ingredients
500ml thickened cream
puree fruit ie Mango,bananna or Strawberries
sugar (optional)

Method
Whip up cream then fold though puree fruit add sugar if needed serve chilled in tall glasses with thin sweet biscuits or sponge.
