This Weeks Episode of Home in WA

This week, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is the BIG winner on Home in WA. As a result of the successful sale of the wonderful 2002 MBA Show Home at Iluka, the Foundation receives a cheque today for $15,000 from part proceeds.

Lifestyle Homes built "The House of Light" as the MBA's second Show Home and the Company's General Manager, Stuart Everitt, joins the MBA's Director, Michael McLean, Sally Jonasson from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Home in WA's Richard Repp, to celebrate the presentation of this generous donation to a very worth charity.

We also talk with Simon Cain from Webb & Brown-Neaves, the company constructing Show Home Number 3 for the MBA, at Minum Cove. David Grant asks Simon about the care the company takes in selecting the right trades and suppliers to ensure the highest quality in all the Company's properties.

One such manufacturer is Jason Windows, who demonstrate their revolutionary , new mullion-free patio sliding doors. This is a typical example of the very best of materials, exemplified in Webb & Brown Neaves newest display home at Princeton Estate, Stirling.

Late Spring is "showtime" for Epiphyllums at The Dutch Windmill Garden and Gift centre in Jandakot. These gorgeous, delicate, colorful succulents are now in full bloom and make a wonderful showpiece for the shaded patio in hanging baskets or as a table centrepiece.

In this week's programme, David talks with Eve Byleveld about her overwhelming passion, the delightful Epiphyllum and how best to care for them.
