Dan – Tell us some of the highlights of Seniors Week this year?

There are loads of activities taking place all over the state. Some of my favourites include:

WA Art Gallery have a special offer for seniors - Richard Avedon exhibition at the special price of $10, this is available every day.

Have a Go Day - Wednesday 12 November at Burswood Park - a great fun free day where visitors can come down and try a myriad of activities. Basically trying lots and lots of activities - We will tell you more about that next week…

But during the week CAT Trails - make a great way to tour around Perth and Fremantle on the CAT bus. The trails detail many interesting places to visit along the CAT routes.

There's the Active Seniors Festival - Saturday 15 November at Perth Cultural Centre. This inaugural event features entertainment and information from 10am to 3.30pm

Dan – So I'm sure there is a lot more for our viewers - how can they find out more about Seniors Week

Jen – Well in our October bumper issue of HAVE A GO NEWS we have a 24 page lift-out detailing many of the events during seniors week, as well you can meet the finalists for the WA Seniors Awards.

Oh yes...must mention that during seniors week there is free transport from Transperth for seniors throughout the week.
You just need to show your seniors card.
