Dan Paris took a moment out to talk to Jen Merigan - 
Travel Editor of Have A Go News at the replica of the Duyfken the ship that discovered Australia in 1606. The 'Dove' will be part of Seniors Week. 

Have a Go News has been very involved in Seniors Week for many years and 2014 is no different.

It runs from 9 -16 November and it is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions made by those aged 60 and over. There are loads of activities taking place all over the state. Some favourites include:

Seniors can visit the Duyfken for an on-board tour at Mounts Bay Sailing Club for a special price of $10 from Monday 10th to Wednesday 12th and this includes a FREE DVD of the making of the replica ship.

WA Art Gallery have a special offer for seniors - The Richard Avedon exhibition at the special price of $10, this is available every day.

Have a Go Day is Wednesday 12 November at Burswood Park - a great Free fun day where visitors can come down and try a myriad of things. Basically trying lots and getting involved in lots of activities, 

But during the week CAT Trails make a great way to tour around Perth and Fremantle on the CAT bus. The trails detail many interesting locations, places to visit along the CAT routes.

There's the Active Seniors Festival - Saturday 15 November at Perth Cultural Centre. This inaugural event features entertainment and information from 10am to 3.30pm
