Well the Master Builders are back again to give you the right advice when it comes to building and renovating your home and today we’d like to tell you about an informative website that can help you invest in the future by creating an accessible home for your family.

Today we meet the Netherway family who have designed and built an accessible home in Claremont with the help from Devrite Constructions to suit the needs of their teenage son with disabilities

The spacious home features a small pool for physiotherapy and a tracking system so their son can be hoisted and moved about and has dramatically improved his health and general well being.

If you’re thinking about making your home accessible for those with disabilities or injuries then this website can help. It’s called and it sets out accessible designs and ideas for your home that enable you to meet those changing needs across a lifetime, such as living with a disability, injury or looking after the elderly.

The Liveable Homes site, developed by the WA Government with stakeholders including Master Builders has guidelines with measurements and plans for kitchens, tips on bathroom designs, entrances, showers, bedrooms, taps, stairways, flooring and much more.

If you’d like to find out more about a home like the Netherway’s or want to know more information on how to make your home more accessible then head to the Master Builders website at – there you’ll find a link to
