This Weeks Episode of Home in WA

The theme for the night was 1950’s. Rollergirls, sweethearts, T-birds and brothers crowded the red carpet for this year’s Master Builders Bankwest Housing Excellence Awards.

A record breaking four hundred and twenty homes were entered in numerous different categories for this year’s competition.

All entries were critiqued by twenty-five independent judges and it was definitely Happy Days for winning team, Brian Burke.

Sitting high on a hill overlooking Waterman’s Bay, this multi-million dollar coastal masterpiece oozes faultless craftsmanship and attention to detail. It’s easy to see why this home has honored Brian Burke builders with their 10th award for this category.

What makes this home so unique and visually stunning are the endless curves, designed to take full advantage of that sweeping panoramic view. My favourite feature is in the Master Suite…eleven individual panes were joined together to produce this curved window, which offers up ocean views from the comfort of this luxurious spa bath.

For those that haven’t won Powerball recently, perhaps this little gem from Atrium Homes might suit your budget.

Designed on a narrow 10m wide block, The Blue Gum took out the award for WA’s Best Display Home. The carefully considered design brings about a feeling of spaciousness. The soaring ceilings allow so much natural light and with separate zoning for growing families, there’s enough room here for privacy or entertaining.

This home really does feel so big…cooweeeeee!!!!
