'Cooking with Embers - Sizzling Garlic Prawns'

How cool would it be to walk into your kitchen and find Andrew Embley cooking your dinner?  Well, the West Coast Eagle joined us at Retravision to share some of his kitchen favourites.

This week, Embers uses the Bosch Hand Blender - which chops, blends, grates, whisks, shreds and beats - to whip up some delicious Sizzling Garlic Prawns.

Sizzling Garlic Prawns

  • 500g tiger prawns

  • 20 cloves garlic

  • 1tbs chilli powder

  • 1/2 cup parsley leaves

  • 3/4 extra virgin olive oil

  • salt

Blend garlic, chilli, parsley and 2tbs olive oil to a paste. Season with salt.

In a saucepan add remaining olive oil and fry off the garlic paste.

Add prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes till flesh is white. Serve immediately.  Delicious with crusty bread.
