Located about 425km north of Perth, the city of Geraldton is bordered by beautiful coastline to the west and rolling hills and breakaway ranges to the east. It's framed North and South by the Chapman and Greenough Rivers. So it's little wonder that it’s become the regional hub of the entire Mid West.
Geraldton's incredible location lends itself to a host of holiday activities, especially water sports. What's more, Geraldton has recently undergone a major transformation with an almost thirty million dollar CBD facelift which turned the city to face its magnificent shores.
Walk trails, interpretive signs and landscaped gardens now line the beachfront and visitors and residents alike can now enjoy more alfresco dining establishments and shopping outlets making the most of its magnificent foreshore.
The new Batavia Coast Marina is a premier land and marina development that includes modern housing and businesses.   It's also home to the new WA Museum Geraldton - a state of the art facility showcasing original artefacts of the region's rich maritime histories.
Geraldton Airport has also been substantially upgraded – with the first air service to Bali taking off  earlier this year.  More airlines are developing connections via Kalgoorlie to East Coast destinations so, it's never been easier to fly in and enjoy all the attractions of the Mid-West.
