Imagine living in a place with the job opportunities of a big city, the lifestyle of a sea change haven and where it doesn't cost the earth to own your own home. Well it is possible if you make the move to one of Australia's 'boom towns'.

Albany is one of Australia's biggest boom towns, with a thriving local industry, expanding infrastructure and jobs on the up and up. And as a result many young families are choosing to make the Great Southern Region their home.

To accommodate the needs of the growing community the Great Southern Grammar School is undergoing extended works and the University of WA’s Albany Campus is also expanding to cater for more students and a wider curriculum.

There’s a new hospital campus under development and a $110 million dollar waterfront precinct set to revitalise the foreshore into a sought after destination.

So it’s no wonder the Master Builders Association in the Great Southern is also growing with its membership numbers skyrocketing. And to cater for this influx they’re building an impressive new training room and display area.

The new building will have two training and seminar rooms, a member or industry display area and will also house four offices and a small library.
