Beauty and the Geek contestants were put through some pretty gruelling challenges and this summer’s hot, dry conditions combined with tough water restrictions are sure to prove challenging for WA gardens.

We’re back in Tim’s garden today, continuing to give it a bit of a Geek to Beauty make-over and just like any garden make-over it needs to start at ground level, with the soil.

PowerFeed contains liquid composts that condition the soil, so a few applications before planting will take care of the ground work.  And applying regularly to the whole garden will help your soil hold water and nutrients right through the summer.
The liquid composts in PowerFeed are highly concentrated, making it a fast acting soil conditioner.  It also provides all the essential nutrients plants need for healthy growth.
Give your garden a good dose of Seasol Super Soil Wetter and Conditioner before planting to prepare the soil and apply regularly to your whole garden through the summer months.

Applying Seasol Super Soil Wetter and Conditioner on your garden increases water penetration, enables the wetting of anti-wetting soils and reduces water run-off.

Applied every two to three weeks Seasol promotes improved root growth and thickens cell walls so that plants are better equipped to cope with heat, drought, pests and diseases.

And of course, mulch your whole garden with an Australian Standard organic mulch to prevent evaporation of water from the soil.

With the right ground work, your garden can survive the hot summer ahead.  And Seasol products make it easy to keep your garden thriving even in the toughest conditions.

Look for Seasol products in garden centres, hardware stores and selected supermarkets.  Or find out more at
