Midland Brick was first established in 1946, became a division of Boral in 1990, and an office opened here in Geraldton in 1997. And how things have changed for the city since then. Midland Brick offers a wide range of brick and paver product in both clay and masonry, and supports local trade by endeavouring to stock products that are popular in the Geraldton region.

A new road-train services Geraldton 3 – 4 times per week, so that Midland Brick product can usually be supplied within 5-10 working days if it’s not already in stock.

If a particular product isn’t in stock it can be sourced, including products for renovation projects on the older homes in the region.
The Geraldton Branch also serves as a wider port of call for the Midwest region, servicing as far south as Gin Gin, Dongara and Jurien Bay and as far north as Northampton, Kalbarri and into the Pilbara region.

They provide a complete estimation service for the owner builder to help them with their budgeting and stock and quantity requirements, and they’re also more than happy to give advice for the local industry and the do it yourselfer.

The opening of their new kiln, kiln 11, in 2006 has created the capacity to produce 50 million standard bricks a year – enough to build more than 2500 houses. It can produce a greater variety of bricks, blocks, pavers and facing tiles in all ranges. Kiln 11 also offers environmental improvements, including state-of-the-art scrubbers, while it uses around 50% less gas to heat, which means lower greenhouse gas emissions.

As part of the Boral Group, Midland Brick has expanded its building product range far beyond bricks and pavers and will be an exhibitor in the New MBA Building Display and Training Centre, Geraldton. From ground to roof, home builders can virtually shop 'one stop' at Midland Brick.
