There’s nothing like the taste of fresh vegetables picked from your very own garden, but a vegetable patch can be a lot of work and take up a lot of room, so what can you do if you want to grow your own veg, but find yourself short on time and space? (apart from getting yourself a Tardis!).  Well, if you’ve got room for a pot, you’ve got room for a veggie garden.

Pots and planters are actually ideal for growing vegetables because most vegetables are fast growers so planting them in containers won’t leave you with any gaps in the garden.  Once you’ve harvested you simply fill your pot with more veggies or even some bulbs or annuals. ½ Price Pottery have one of the largest ranges of pots and planters in WA.

You don’t necessarily need extra large containers for a veggie pot either; it really depends on your personal taste (pardon the pun).  You can colour co-ordinate with the rest of your home or try something different.

Veggies and herbs in pots are great for time-poor gardeners.  They’re quick to plant out and really easy to maintain – just keep your pots in full-sun and keep them moist and you’ll have fresh produce from the garden to the table in no time.

½ Price Pottery has a huge selection of pots and planters to suit any style of garden and pretty much any of them are a suitable container for a vegetable garden.  Check out their range at any of ½ Price Pottery’s seven stores across Perth. And if you spend more than $19, they’ll throw in the potting mix.
