Here are some reasons to build in steel:
Steel is strong, straight and ideal for building in cyclonic areas. Steel is also an extremely versatile building material that offers an unparalleled level of design flexibility and is particularly suited to difficult site conditions such as sloping blocks. Unlike timber, steel is 100% termite proof, so you don’t have to treat the frames with toxic chemicals. The average steel frame section is very light; up to 70% lighter than timber, so it can be easily handled and erected by just two people without the use of lifting gear, building a steel-framed home is much faster compared to a similar sized timber or brick home so you could be ready in one week for cladding, and last but not least…Steel is 100% recyclable.  So you can have the peace of mind that you are building with a product that is looking to the future.
