Novacare Lifestyle Village was established in 2001 at Broadwater, just south of the picturesque town of Busselton to cater for over 55’s who are still active and independent but want to live in a secure environment.

Strategically located a short stroll from the beautiful beaches of Geographe Bay, the village is close to all the amenities of Busselton and the South West which makes retirement living more like a resort vacation.

There are currently 17 homes left for sale in the latest stage, in a variety of sizes and styles, many with courtyards with front gardens professionally maintained, there’s even room for a small well behaved pet.  There’s plans to construct 44 up market apartments and by 2009, Aegis Aged Care will have 30 low care and 60 high care beds available in a further stage to be developed.

Each home has a high level of security with a medical call button installed, full security screens, closed circuit television cameras and remote controlled garages. There’s a full compliment of communal facilities such as luxury heated pool, arts and crafts centre, a village cinema, several choices of restaurants, library, hair salon, medical facility, fitness centre, sauna and spa and community centre for all types of functions and games. There’s even bus tours and outings and residents can be as social as they like or not.

Ross Dunkerton is taken on a tour of the Village and discovers that not only does the village represent secure peace of mind living, but the stylish homes ensure a sound future investment for it’s residents.
