Ray Village  - Busselton is a superb retirement location for any retiree. CAPECARE consists of 18 acres of beachfront land that was kindly donated in 1961 by the late Jack and Maud Ray. Their wish was for the land to be used for charitable purposes, in particular care for the aged and today their vision is reflected in the many services that CAPECARE offers.

CAPECARE is a not for profit organisation and comprises of a low care and high care residential frail aged facility, a community services program providing “At Home” care for the elderly in the Busselton and Dunsborough area, a Day Centre providing day respite for the aged and their latest project, a retirement village for the over 65, all managed on site.

The retirement village consists of 55 units with stage three only recently completed. There are still 9 units up for grabs including two beautifully designed homes located right on the beachfront of Geographe Bay. The other units are just a short stroll away from the waters edge and from some of the most popular resorts in the southwest

All homes feature high ceilings throughout, an open plan living area and two or three bedrooms with ensuite access to the master bedroom. There’s a large lock-up storeroom and outdoor alfresco areas designed to take full advantage of the northern sun. With a fantastic range of new and existing units there is something to suit everyone’s budget, with prices ranging from $325,000 to $708,000, that's an average house price of $508 000.

Plans are well under way for the construction of a purpose built village centre, which will house a kitchen, dining, crafts and meeting areas.
