This Weeks Episode of Home in WA

Living outside of the Metropolitan area has enormous appeal to an increasingly large number of people, but one thing that is a common concern, is how to get a home built that suits the country lifestyle but is of big city quality. The skills shortage in the last few years certainly hasn’t helped the equation and long delays and price spikes is often the case in country locations.

Julian Walter recognised this problem about ten years ago, when he established his company, WA Country Builders. He made a commitment to use local tradespeople and materials and to support local organisations, businesses, charities and sporting clubs. In the process, today, this great company has grown to employing over one hundred people and has offices from Geraldton to Albany.

WA Country Builders has become so renowned for quality,
craftsmanship and service to regional West Australia that they are the most industry awarded builder in regional WA and in keeping with Julian’s philosophy of community mindedness, they’re also responsible for building Telethon homes in several of the major regional capitals. Not a bad achievement in just a decade.

Ross Dunkerton takes a look at what sets this company apart from others in this market by going inside a couple of their display homes in the very popular estate of Dalyellup just south of Busselton.
