As the Kings Park Festival heads into its final week tomorrow it is the ‘Wild Fairyland festival’.  There will be fairies, witches, elves, wizards and dragons too! Bring the kids and the whole family for this fun day out…check for more details.

Next weekend it’s the ‘Wildflower Market Place’ held over the 29th & 30th September during the Kings Park Festival.  Over 20,000 native plants will be on sale, all of which have been grown from seed in Kings Park.  You can also get some great gardening tips from the experts at the Water Corporation’s ‘Garden Shed’.  Colin Barlow will also be in attendance on Monday 1st October with the Gardening Gang.

The Hana Matsuri Flower festival is also on from 10am-4pm on Sunday 30th September where there will be a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, kite flying, ikebana and origami.  You can even listen to music from the Mikado or try inflatable sumo wrestling!

And be sure to check out the traditional Japanese garden designed using all W.A native plants…This garden celebrates the sister city relationship between Perth and Hyogo in central Japan.
