The turquoise coast is nestled right in the middle of the Shire of Dandaragan. The pinnacles were formed over 2 thousand years ago, out of plant and tree roots. The Pinnacles attract over 250,000 visitors every year and the department of environment and conservation are constructing a new pinnacles discovery center to be finished in November to cater for overseas and interstate visitors. If you don’t feel like walking the 100 meters from the car park to get to the desert you can drive along there 5 kilometer scenic drive which will get you right up close to this remarkable landscape. This is the states most iconic tourist attraction. So what are you waiting for, come up and have a look its only 2 hours drive from Perth.

Retro Big Blokes Fry Up Breakfast or Mixed Grill (half recipe for the girls)

Serves 1 Big Bloke!

Ingredients

1 250gm Blue Waters fillet steak
2 thick pork sausages from British Sausage Company
3 Golden Eggs (one for the potato mix)
½ tsp Whittington’s cumin seeds
Fini olive oil
300 grams of left over Mashed Potato (Royal Blues)
Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Warm pan add cumin seeds until fragrant, season steak with salt and pepper start cooking steak in a hot pan (cook how you like it done)
Start cooking your sausages on a low heat nice and easy (do not burn them)
Mix left over mashed potato with an egg (this will keep them together) salt and pepper to taste, then make into round patties and fry in olive oil until golden brown. Last cook egg, (I like them runny). Serve up on a big plate and enjoy!
Serve with a chilled glass of Salitage wine…that’s if it’s ‘brunch’ of course.
