When it comes to barbeques for our outdoor lifestyle, there are units for every budget and occasion using natural gas from Alinta, at your nearest Kleanheat Gas House or Rinnai showroom.

Metal framed trolley barbeques right the way up to stunning built in models like the Rinnai Classic Gourmet and Impressor range for the connoisseur.
They come with side burners for cooking rice and vegetables, roasting hoods for the Sunday roast and  of course they can be free standing or built in. They’re manufactured from the highest quality stainless steel and can include 5 burners, 5 side burners, infrared back burner, fish burner, inbuilt smoke box and cupboards and drawers.

If our natural gas barbeque hasn’t seen a lot of action since last summer, here are a few handy tips.

  • Wash the unit down with soapy water and check the connection for and bubbles which may point us in the direction of a loose connection and a gas leak. If that’s the case, just tighten the connections and you’re away.

  • Always line the drip tray with aluminium foil, never with sand. And clean it after every use. This will prevent flare ups.

  • And remember, barbecues are outdoor appliances so they need to be used outdoors and in a well ventilated area. Make sure that your overhead cover is at least 1.5 metres clear of the top of your barbecue.

  • If your barbeque doesn’t light first time, wait 5 minutes before attempting a re-light and any work carried out for installation or repair must be done by a licensed gasfitter.

Of course the best way to ensure you never have to deal with gas bottles running out just when you need them the most, is to have your barbeque connected to your home’s gas supply for continuous, clean, reliable and economical natural gas from Alinta.
