The Cape Lavender web site says" A Slice of Heaven" and they might be right.

This is the famous Margaret River wine district, but Cape Lavender offers something quite different to the traditional wineries of the region.

As the name suggests, the buildings and vineyards are set amongst fields of lavender. Surrounded by rolling hills, magnificent natural bushland and vineyards the Cape Lavender gardens contain almost 100 varieties of lavender, many cultivated right here.

Cape Lavender has a delightful café/restaurant which has won an amazing 5 Gold Plate Awards, including 'Best Freestanding Cafe - Country Licensed' and 'Best Licensed Casual Dining - Country', as well as the 2004 Sunday Times Award for 'Excellence in Informal Dining'
Then there's the Gift shop. It's right here that Bev Clarke, owner of Cape Lavender with husband Jeff, produces almost all the natural lavender face and body products available in the gift shop.
Here you can find lavender perfumed soaps, essential oils, moisturisers, cleansers as well as teas, fudges, biscuits, jams, chutneys, honey and other choice produce.
Now let's NOT forget that we're in the middle of our famous Margaret River wine district. And so! The current vintage of Cape Lavender wines as well as their new label, Moss Penny, for premium quality wines, with the first bottling of a superb 2004 Shiraz as well as Moss Penny 2002 Chardonnay.

Cape Lavender is on Carter Road off Metricup Road at Wilyabrup not far from Margaret River. They're open 7 days from 10 until 5 and you can call Bev and Jeff Clark on 9755 7552
