Natural Gas ducted or central heating pipes warm air into every room of your home. The ducts are hidden in the roofspace, under the floor or within the walls, so it saves on space and is practically invisible.

It's also highly efficient, providing instant and continuous warmth and, just like with ducted air-conditioning, you can choose to heat certain zones at different times and temperatures so you're not wasting energy or money.

Gas ducted heating also has other energy saving benefits. For example, it outputs the same level of heat no matter how cold it is, whereas reverse-cycle systems lose efficiency the colder it gets outside. Air from a natural gas ducted system is warmer than from a reverse-cycle system and so doesn't need to create high air-flows which means less draft.

Ducted gas heating is also a safer option for homes with children because there are no hot surfaces to burn little fingers, no electrical connections to grab hold of and no emission of allergy or asthma producing fumes inside the home. In fact, The Asthma Foundation of WA has recognised natural gas ducted heating as safe for people with asthma.

Braemar specialise in ducted gas heating and they have a range of models available that are extremely efficient 5.4 stars which means they're not only environment saving but also cost saving.

But if you've just got one room you'd like to heat and you'd like to do it for next to nothing, then you'll be interested in the chance to win the Rinnai Energysaver power flue heater valued at $2099, thanks to Alinta and Rinai.

Just put your name and address on the back of an envelope along with the answer to last week's question and the answer to this question: Name one type of natural gas heating for your home.
