This Weeks Episode of Home in WA

This week's edition of HOME in WA comes from the official Grand Opening of the MBA Show Home at Minum Cove. David Grant welcomes viewers to this magnificent home overlooking the Swan River at Mosman Park.

Built by one of Perth's finest home builders, Webb & Brown-Neaves, this splendid home is the third Show Home developed by the Master Builders Association to demonstrate the quality and workmanship of MBA Builder and Trade Members and their suppliers. The progress of the building contract has been regularly charted each year by HOME in WA.

Riciard Repp talks with MBA Executive Director, Michael McLean and Webb & Brown-Neaves' General Manager, Alwyn Even about the outstanding success of the Show Home strategy and the superb final result.

The recipient of part proceeds from the eventual sale of the home is the Heart & Lung Transplant Foundation in Western Australia which was officially launched on the presentation of a cheque for a staggering $400,000 through the generous donation by Webb & Brown-Neaves' Managing Director, Gary Brown-Neaves.

It was the passion of dual lung transplant recipient, Yvonne Barley who initially approached Gary Brown-Neaves to assist with the establishment of the Foundation in Western Australia, that enabled the project to proceed.

The overall impact is that there is now a heart-lung transplant facility at Royal Perth Hospital, where formerly patients had to travel to Melbourne for a life-saving operation.
