One new community is bringing a welcome return to the good old days of village life with a development that's been specifically designed to encourage an active, healthy lifestyle and a strong sense of community.

The latest Landstart Joint Venture, The Village at Wellard, draws on the latest thinking in urban design to help create a safer and closer community.

Right at the heart of The Village will be a state-of-the-art train station integrated with a bus terminal. So, by the end of 2006, residents will be just a leisurely thirty-minute train ride from the Perth CBD. In fact, the Village at Wellard also has the unique honour of being the first Transit orientated development in the Southern Corridor.

Until then, The Village is still just a short drive from the coast at Rockingham and the Kwinana Freeway is easily accessible via Mortimer Road.

One very unique feature of The Village at Wellard is the large amount of land devoted to Public Open Space. Some thirty-three hectares have been set aside as landscaped parks, a further seventeen hectares will be dedicated as a Bush Forever site and another ten hectares reserved as a conservation wetland.

The Village at Wellard is already convenient to established shopping, education and community facilities and sites within the development have been earmarked for local infrastructure including schools, medical facilities and a lively café and shopping precinct.

Blocks in the first release of The Village at Wellard sold out in just 48 hours and Stage Two sold out in around a week. So, you'd better be quick if you'd like to get in on the release of Stage Three in late September.

Call The Village at Wellard Sales Office for more information or take the Mortimore Road exit off the Freeway to Wellard Ave, Wellard.
