Stained Glass was first used centuries ago, mainly to decorate large cathedrals or churches. As the process of making stained glass became easier and cheaper, it quickly became more widely used in a variety of situations.

Tradition Stained Glass and Leadlighting was first established in 1908 in Holland, and the business moved to Perth in the 1950's. Their creations are now hand crafted by the family's third generation of glass-maker, and today the business is run by the original owner's great grandson, Kim Fitzpatrick.

Tradition has always been a key word in this family business. The company takes great pride in their authentic skills and level of craftsmanship. They can handle all aspects of commission from design to installation and have at hand joiners, cabinet makers and full door selections.

Their work features Traditional themes as well as their own designed artistic images, which are extremely diverse and range from traditional to contemporary. They can also replicate or restore old stained glass.

Tradition Stained Glass also run classes in leadlighting, and stock all the supplies the hobbyist could need.
